Fiorentina are now focussing on Montolivo's renewal. The Viola sporting director,  Pantaleo Corvino told Sky: "We agreed on the contract duration for the next 5 years. There was a small gap even on the financial side, but the player wants to take his time. We are OK with this, there is no rush. We had no offers last summer for Montolivo".
