Creditors ask for Palermo to be repossessed over Dybala debt!

Though Paulo Dybala is very much a Juventus player, his move to Palermo from Instituto de Cordoba is still being fought over in the courts....

Rights company Pencil Hill, owned by Gustavo Mascardi, have asked that the Sicilian club's assets be seized in order to repay them an outstanding €15 million debt which they say they are owed.

Dybala's move to Sicily included the acquisition of his financial rights (7.5 million) from Pencil Hill, a sum which doubled when Palermo failed to meet the payment deadline.

Pencil Hill have already won the right to reclaim their money from Manchester Crown Court... to which Palermo reacted by appealing to the Italian sporting tribunal, the TAS.

Last July, Switzerland's Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced the sum to around 3 million, which Palermo refuse to pay, losing their eventual appeal.

Mercurial owner Maurizio Zamparini has since declared that Palermo took Pencil Hill to court on April 12th...

This case looks to be far from over...
