    Daniele De Rossi’s tackle on Porto’s Maxi Pereira yesterday night was harder that would you’d think. The giallorossi midfielder was shown a straight red card after his challenge on the Uruguayan right-back who left the pitch minutes afterwards.


    Pereira was initially believed to be suffering from a muscle injury, but it has emerged that he has a deep wound to his right leg and medical examination in the next few days will highlight whether the 32-year-old has also picked a fibula injury.
