De Boer: "We will fight for first-place. On Joao Mario & Sissoko..."
New Inter boss Frank de Boer has been speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s match in Verona against Chievo. He began by explaining that; “We have played only one friendly match since I arrived so we have not had much time to prepare. I have trust that the team will be ready and have no particular sensations at this time”.
He continued; “We must believe in what we are doing and I’m not concerned with anything else as we will see how the players adapt to my tactics over the coming weeks. We want to try to win all our games but we must be realistic”.
On Ranocchia:
“We are talking about one of the best defenders in Italy up until a couple of years ago so I’m confident in the fact that he can be very good for us”.
On Joao Mario and Sissoko:
“Players of this quality can complete the group as we already have some exceptional talent at the club. Everyone needs to make their own contribution and it all starts tomorrow against Chievo”.
