Do you feel like this is the first crucial phase of the season?
“We are happy to have time to work on our tactical plans. The only bad thing is that we did not have all the players available until now, this is the first day that we are all together. However, I have faith as everyone is willing to improve”

“I believe we’ve made some steps forward. I’d like to see a unite team, with the same philosophy. That’s the only way we can snatch good results. I saw positive things against Palermo and I believe we can make a good game against Pescara.”

“Yes, everyone’s ready to start, including Joao Mario. He is a complete midfielder who can play in the middle and on the wing”
Is it correct to say that your league will start tomorrow?
“We’ve already played two games, but we could not work together for two weeks. It’s been difficult to explain my idea off football, we’d never had a chance to play 11 v 11. Everything will change from tomorrow, that’s what I hope”
Can Brozovic and Joao Mario play together? “They are two quality men, I think so.”
Do you think critics were too harsh with you?

“When you work in a big club like Inter, it’s normal to have pressure on you, but I am sure we’ll get the results. Inter have been struggling over the last four seasons, it will take time.”
Mancini thought that Inter can win the Serie A, might you have to set a new target given that you did not choose the players? “I don’t look at what has been made before me. I take what I got and I am hopeful.”
