De Boer: ‘No rush with Gabigol, Brozovic out of squad again’
ROTATIONS - “We’ve played many games in three weeks, but it’s not a problem for us. Some players needed to rest so I gave them a day off yesterday. They needed a day to recover, also mentally.”
GABIGOL - “He’s settling in well, he has to understand our philosophy. He has quality and will make his debut sooner or later. He has vision and amazing technical skills. He can help his teammates a lot. You can see that when he dribbles. He never looks at the ball, he always tries to serve his teammates instead.”
LACK OF GOALS FROM MIDFIELD – They have to help the team and build the action. Sometimes we play with just one playmaker, other times with Banega as attacking midfielder. What really matters is to se them helping strikers.”
JOVETIC, ANSALDI, BROZO – He can play as centre forward or support striker. He’s doing amazing things in training. You can see he wants to impress me. I’ll play him when we’ll need him. Ansaldi is eligible to play even if not for the whole 90 minutes. Brozovic is not going to be called for the game.”
