Di Francesco: 'too much pressure' on Juventus, Inter target Berardi

Eusebio Di Francesco has issued a warning about star striker Domenico Berardi, claiming that all the pressure being put on his shoulders is harmful.

"Berardi hasn't been playing well of late, but he can change games in an instant" the Sassuolo Coach told the press after his team's 1-0 win over Frosinone, in which Berardi came up with the winning assist for team-mate Matteo Politano.

"Too much pressure isn't good, however, he must not lose the will to play and to perform in key moments".

One of Italy's most admired young talents, the 21-year-old hasn't been playing lights out this season, scoring only 7 times when he'd totalled 31 over the previous two campaigns.

With the Cariati-born player getting into trouble with Italy manager Antonio Conte over allegedly exaggerating the nature of a recent injury, Berardi is also set to miss out on France 2016.

The Neroverdi sta is currently a target of teams like Juventus (who already have a gentleman's agreement with Sassuolo over his sale), Inter and Barcelona.
