Diego Simeone makes Chelsea wantaway top priority
The Chelsea star was recently dumped via Whatsapp by Coach Antonio Conte, and the latest reports indicate that the striker wants to return to Atletico, his former club.
Even better, Coach Diego Simeone has made the Spanish-Brazilian a priority.
Asked about what he wanted to do recently, the Spanish international - who doesn’t want to miss the upcoming World Cup - would prefer to play in Spain, and especially with his former club.
“Atletico are one of them [the options], it doesn’t mean not playing, they can give me to any team in Spain, Brazil or wherever, but I have to play,” the 28-year-old said before Spain’s World Cup qualifier against Macedonia.
“Everyone in the world knows that I like them.
“I’m obviously discarding China, I am thinking about the World Cup”.
Diego Costa is best remembered for leading the Colchoneros to a Liga title and Champions League final in 2014.
