€80m Chelsea, United target 'likes' PSG

James Rodriguez likes the idea of playing in Paris, according to France Football.

There’s more: the Arsenal and Inter Milan target wants to play Champions League football, giving both PSG and Manchester United a leg up in the transaction.

Recent reports from Spain indicated that Chelsea were ahead of everyone in the race for the player, who Real Madrid want to sell for the €80 million they acquired him for back in the summer of 2014.

James was a star at the 2014 World Cup, being acquired from Monaco, where he did enough to attract the attention of PSG.

Though his first year in Spain - 13 goals in the Liga - was a resounding success, Rodriguez has since found himself being left out, prompting his stepfather to say that his “talent should be expressed on the football pitch”.

Rodriguez has only started 13 games for Real Madrid this season, though he has managed 8 goals.
