€90m Real star left in lurch by Lukaku move
All reports indicate that the Spaniard is desperate to make his country’s squad for next year’s World Cup in Russia, and would ideally like to start as he did to such great effect at Euro 2016.
Instead, the Real Madrid player has been left in the lurch by Manchester United’s reported signing of Romelu Lukaku, which has made the recruitment of another striker superfluous.
AS claim that Real still won’t let their player go for less than €90m, something which irritated the 24-year-old.
The former Juventus star has also ended up on the radars of PSG, Milan, Chelsea and others, but it’s hard to see anybody be willing to shell out €90m for a promising player who isn’t seen as a sure thing.
Morata had agreed to terms with the Rossoneri earlier this summer, but Milan were never particularly interested in paying a huge sum for him, and have since signed Andre Silva from Porto.
