Everton fans accuse Chelsea target of treating the club like s**t
With his transfer to Chelsea seemingly done and dusted, Everton fans have took to social media to vent their anger at Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. After reports on Tuesday that a return to Stamford Bridge was close, the Goodison Park faithful have let the 24-year-old know that they are not impressed with how he has gone about his business with some accusing him of treating the club like s**t.
In an interview whilst on international duty, Lukaku gave an update on his current situation. Explaining that; “My business attorney is now talking to a club. I know where I want to go. I just stay patient. I know that appointments have been made. I’m just waiting for a call”, before adding that; “Staying at Everton is not really an option, I think.”
A series of angry tweets have appeared online from fans frustrated at how he has treated the club over the past few months as a summer move became inevitable.
