Everton lead the race to sign AC Milan, Lazio target

Everton have set sights on Ajax star Davy Klaassen, according to a report of The Mirror. The Dutchman has been shortlisted as a summer transfer priority by the Toffees’ manager Ronald Koeman and according to reports in England, Everton hope they will land the box-to-box midfielder in the next ten days.

The Premier League side may need £ 20 million to complete the signing of the 24-year-old who has imposed himself as one of the most talented midfielders around Europe.
A host of Serie A clubs are also being linked with signing Klaasen, including Lazio, AC Milan and Napoli.

Although Ajax and Everton have yet to agree a transfer fee for the 24-year-old, the Premier League side are believed to be on top of the queue given that Lazio can’t match Ajax demands whilst AC Milan have already completed the signing of another midfielder (Franck Kessié) and are now focusing on signing one top-class striker.
