Matija Nastasic could reach Roma’s Pinzolo's retirement in the coming days. The Giallorossi club has accelerated for the former central defender of Fiorentina and Manchester City, now owned by Schalke 04. Intermediary Pietro Chiodi has been in Val Rendena for two days now and is very close to the agent of footballer, Fali Ramadani. The deal should close in the next few hours and Nastasic could be at Eusebio Di Francesco's disposal in training that will finish in Pinzolo. Roma will end their retreat with a friendly on Friday, then leave for the United States tour.

Twenty four year old Nastasic will reinforce the Roman club’s back line after the departure of Antonio Rudiger to Chelsea. The Serbian defender started in 21 games for Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga, where he impressed Monchi. A versatile defender who can also deputise as a left back, Roma will be happy to have tied up a deal early enough to allow the player to join his teammates on their preseason tour.
