Ex-Man City star 'happy' at Roma, hints at Bundesliga return
The Bosnian star is being chased by Olympique Marseille, but doesn’t seem to want to leave the Italian capital yet.
Considered a flop after a poor 2015-2016 season at the Olimpico, the former Manchester City man rebounded emphatically in the last campaign, scoring 29 goals in Serie A for the Lupa.
“I’m 31 years old, but that is simply what is on my identity cards, because otherwise I’ve never felt better, he said (via FootballclubdeMarseille).
“I am happy at Roma, I still have three years left on my contract, and I’m optimistic about the future.”
He then went into further detail about Wolfsburg, the club who sold him to Manchester City for €32 million back in 2011.
“I owe a lot to Wolfsburg: without them, I would never have had the career I had at Manchester City and Roma.
“I’d like to return, obviously as a player”.
