Exclusive: AC Milan have chosen their January midfield reinforcement

AC Milan are long time admirers of Udinese star Seko Fofana. The former Man City starlet claimed the spotlight in Udinese’s 4-0 win against Sapdoria yesterday and his performance confirmed that he is one of the most talented and promising midfielders in Serie A.

The rossoneri have been scouting both Fofana and his teammate Jakub Jankto for very long time as the Serie A giants are desperate to get some midfield reinforcement in January. According to our sources, Fofana has jumped to front of AC Milan shortlist for midfield reinforcement.

The  Ivorian star is pretty similar to Franck Kessié and he could either become the Ivorian’s back-up or play alongside the former Atalanta ace to give Vincenzo Montella’s side more strength in the middle of the park.

Fofana picked up a knee injury at the end of last season and has just made return to the pitch after several months spent on the sidelines. If AC Milan will fail to sign Fofana in January, they will surely make an attempt next summer as well.
