Exclusive: Agent of Gabriel Jesus comments on Inter links ahead of Chelsea-Man City
Former Inter president Massimo Moratti has never hidden his admiration for the Brazilian. “He is one of the players I like the most”, Moratti has recently revealed.
Calciomercato.com’s Fabrizio Romano has talked to Gabriel Jesus’ agent Cristiano Simoes who has thanked Ronaldo for his kind words on his client.
“I was informed about the words of Moratti and I must thank him, he had some really kind words for Gabriel. He [Gabriel Jesus] is totally focused on Manchester City and Brazil national teams, he wants to do important things for them.”
Inter had been linked with signing the Brazilian before he moved to Manchester City and at the moment there is no chance Inter can see Gabriel Jesus join them: “He is only focused on Manchester City”, Simoes said. “Could he join Inter one day? I don’t know, maybe but now he only thinks about his club and his national team.”
Manchester City face Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge today. The Citizens’ attacking force will mostly depend on Gabriel Jesus given that Sergio Aguero was involved in a car accident yesterday and will only return to action in two months due to broken ribs.
