EXCLUSIVE Agresti: the Serie A transfer market's votes

The winter transfer window is over. Here are the votes to the top Serie A teams:

NAPOLI 5 - On the long run, the difference with Juve may be determined by the widness of the group, especially when the International games will start again: from this point of view, the azzurri were already weaker than the Serie A defending champions, but they didn’t reinforce their team adequately, especially for what concern its midfield. De Laurentiis had promised to great signings, but he didn’t keep his word. Who knows if Napoli fans, in a few weeks, will have to regret their club’s mistakes on the transfer market. The good things are the departures, that have allowed the club to reduce its salary cap, and the idea of investing on some youngsters for the future.

JUVENTUS 7 – They have everything, including the backups, and they didn’t sign anybody, at least for the immediate; they would have changed their strategy only if they had the chance to sign a champ like Gundogan or Isco. It’s all right. Allegri didn’t need another Hernanes, i.e. an alternative, who can’t compete with the starters. On the other hand, they have started to build their future, with Mandragora, Sensi, Lapadula and Caprari.

FIORENTINA 4 – Since september, it was well known that the viola needed a new center back, but they signed him only in the last hours of the transfer window (by the way, Benalouane). Moreover, what happened with River Plate regarding Mammana was grotesque. Rossi has left, Zarate has joined: will it be a good deal? Finally, only Tello seems to be a high-level signing. Fiorentina are in the same situation of Napoli, they risk to miss a great chance. Moreover, they signed no young talents.

INTER 6,5 – Eder has been the great strike of the Winter’s transfer window. No other Italian club has signed such a good player, Too bad that the nerazzurri have focused on the wrong position. It’s true, they needed someone who could score, but they needed even more a skilled player in the middle of the field. The Lombard club has also done a good job regarding the departures.

ROMA 5 – Iturbe and Gervinho (maybe the best player in the first half of the season) out, El Shaarawy in. The same game that Sabatini likes to do. Finally, nothing new. Roma needed to reinforce their defense, on its center and on the flank, and only Zukanovic joined, somebody that was playing in the second-worse defense of the league.

MILAN 5 – They got rid of some players, saving something regarding the salary. And they have signed only Boateng, who has been out of the pitch for a long time. The derby has brought a lot of enthusiasm, but the transfer market was awful. The rossoneri didn’t succeed in selling Luiz Adriano to China, and they didn’t manage too well the situation of Stephan El Shaarawy.
