Exclusive: former top signing set for AC Milan summer exit

AC Milan signed Andrea Betolacci for € 20 million from Genoa only two years ago but the Italian has failed to justify his price-tag at the San Siro and sources have exclusively told Calciomercato.com that the former Genoa star is set to leave the Serie A giants in the summer.

The Diavoli have already completed the transfer of Franck Kessié and are planning to land one more midfielder in the summer which means Bertolacci won’t have enough game time in the 2017/18 campaing.

The 26-year-old has been struggling with injuries during his time at the San Siro but when he was fielded he has never proved his worth, showing lack of determination and personality, two qualities which are much needed in a footballer, especially when he plays for AC Milan.

According to our sources, AC Milan are ready to make Bertolacci leave for a fee close to € 10 million. The player is a transfer target of Fiorentina and Atalanta although Genoa could also try to make their former star return at the Marassi.

Bertolacci was one of the major signings of AC Milan back in summer 2015, this summer he will be leaving the San Siro after a disappointing two-year spell in North Italy.
