Exclusive: Galliani and Fassone to meet tomorrow to lay out AC Milan’s January transfer plans

Adriano Galliani and Marco Fassone are set to meet tomorrow to lay out plans for AC Milan’s January transfers, calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo has exclusively learned. Galliani is the current CEO of AC Milan, whilst Fassone is going to replace him once the Chinese consortium complete the club’s takeover. Former Inter chief scout Massimiliano Mirabelli, on the other hand, is going to be appointed as AC Milan director of sport once the club’s ownership changes.

So, tomorrow is the big day for AC Milan fans. Galliani and Fassone will try to agree a few names AC Milan should focus on in January. Both parties believe that Milan Badelj would be a perfect addition to the rossoneri midfield. The Croatian playmaker is available for € 10 million as his contract with Fiorentina expires in 2018 and the player’s already revealed that he’s not going to sign a contract extension with La Viola.

As for midfield, another name on both Galliani and Fassone’s agendas is Atalanta starlet Roberto Gagliaridini, whilst for the role of winger Mirabelli and Fassone sponsor Lazio’s Keita but Galliani and Montella would prefer Alejandro Gomez. It is very difficult, however, that any of these two players will join AC Milan in January as the club’s priority is to sign a new centre midfielder.

If, however, the rossoneri giants fail to sell some of their players they will have no budget to sign new recruits. Bacca can leave for the right offer (around € 20-30 million), Lionel Vangioni, Rodrigo Ely and Luiz Adriano are also on AC Milan’s list of departures.
