Exclusive: Inter prepare opening bid for Serie A stars

Inter are ready to make an opening bid to sign Borja Valero, according to our transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano. The Spaniard is  Fiorentina veteran and is on very good terms with both the club and the fans that’s why it won’t be any easy for Inter to complete the signing of the former Villeareal man.

The nerazzurri, however, want to make an attempt as their new boss Luciano Spalletti is a long time admirer of the 32-year-old who was linked with a move to Roma last summer when Spalletti was in charge of the giallorossi.

Inter’s opening bid won’t exceed € 5 million. Talks between two clubs will be ongoing from next week, whilst Piero Ausilio is trying to persuade the player to move to the San Siro.

Meantime, Inter have also set sights on Sampdoria’s Milan Skriniar one of the most promising centre-backs playing in Italy at the moment. The blucerchiati want € 15/16 million plus Luca Caprari but Inter are still not ready to offer as much. Despite that, the Serie A giants will continue negotiations with Sampdoria during the next few weeks.
