EXCLUSIVE: Inter want to sell Handanovic

The Champions League dream is over for next season and now Inter need reinforcements. Coach Roberto Mancini recently declared that; “In our case it’s not easy to play the transfer market we need to work with the head, to have good ideas”.

    THE SPINE IS UNTOUCHABLE
The man from Jesino is convinced he has built the foundations of a good side. The spine of the team reads well, Miranda, Murillo, Brozovic, Perisic and Icardi and for this reason the club will try to keep all of them in place next season. If a sizeable offer is tabled for any of the aforementioned, then the situation may have to be re-assessed but if this doesn’t occur, then other areas of the team can be the centre of their focus.

    HANDANOVIC CAN DEPART
The surprising name for potential departures is goalkeeper Sami Handanovic. The Slovenian has only recently renewed his contract but his ambition is sadly not being matched by the club and his future could lay elsewhere. In a recent interview, the 31-year-old custodian explained that; “I have a contract but you never know”. His sale would earn the club around €15 million which would make good business sense for the nerazzurri. Barcelona and clubs from the Premier League have shown an interest in the player and all could guarantee him a higher standard than he is experiencing in Serie A. Another pit-fall that could take Handanovic to pastures new is the guarantee he wanted in his new deal that the club would seek new investment. With the current situation with the Suning Group still to be resolved, a farewell could be imminent.
