EXCLUSIVE Interview with Tomas Molina ‘I dream of playing for Inter or AC Milan’

Tomas Molina is one of the most promising talents of South American football. He’s playing for Huracan, the club he has been supporting since he’s a child.

Molina, tipped to become the next Hernan Crespo has released an interview in Buenos Aires with CM.com’s reported Francesco Morrone.

You made your debut in Argentina’s first division last year. What did you feel the day of your first game with the senior team?
“I made my debut during the derby against San Lorenzo, Huracan’s most hatred rivals. I entered the itch from the bench in the last twenty minutes, we were one goal and one man down, but we scored the equalizer in the last minute, moments before the final whistle. I don’t know how many youths made this kind of debut with the senior team.”

Who’s the best player you have faced so far?
“Definitely Carlos Tevez, one of the best Argentinean players. He’s a striker like me and when I meet him I always try to steal some of his secrets. Marco Ruben is also very talented, he plays for Rosario Central, he can move very fast and he scores bags of goals. After them I’d say Wanchope he has an incredible experience and he always plays with the right tempo.”

You are under contract with Huracan, but would you move to River Plate or Boca Juniors?
“They are amazing clubs, each young Argentinean footballer would like to play for them. However, I am going to tell you something. My dream is to stay with Huracan. They are not the club not of my city, they are more. They are the club of my neighbourhood. My family and I are from here. I’ve always respected Totti and Maldini because they never moved from their favourite clubs, I’d like to the same with Huracan.”

If you had a chance to move to Italy which club would you choose?
“I’d like to play for Inter or AC Milan, even if I know Juventus are the best Italian team right now. AS Roma are also an attracting opportunity, I watched one of their game from the Olimpico four years ago and I was left impressed by their fans.”
