As calciomercato.com understands Juventus are chasing the 17 year old Dante Rigo, a Belgian midfielder who is among the brightest prospects of world football.

Rigo was born in Tremelo, a small Belgian municipality on the 11th of December 1998. In 2007 he left his native country to move in Holland, where he kicked off his professional career. Last April he signed his first contract with the Ererdivise giants PSV Eindhoven and he is set to make his debut in the senior national team under the manager
    Philip Cocu
within the end of the season.

He has already won the prestigious Otten Cup with the U-19 Belgium team and Juventus are scouting him in the U-17 World Cup which is taking place in South Africa. Rigo netted a free kick against Costa Rica which allowed the Red Devils to access the tournament’s semi-finals against Mali.

Holland papers are comparing him with the Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman, even if the 17 year’s old idol is undoubtedly the former Juventus star Andrea Pirlo. The Bianconeri, by the way, are not the only team interested in Rigo’s services as also the Serie A giants AC Milan set sights on him.

Time will tell whether Rigo will join any of the two sides in the future.
