EXCLUSIVE: Juve, Guilavogui the substitute for Marchisio

The name of Joshua Guilavogui may not be as attractive to fans of Juventus like Gundogan or Yaya Toure, but his credentials must be taken seriously. With charecteristics similar to that of Patrick Viera, he is player of huge physical presence who can not only break down opposition attacks, but become a creator for his own team. Another reason why fans of the bianconeri should take note is that he can arrive in Turin for a lot less money that the two other players mentioned above.

BETWEEN ATLETICO AND WOLFSBURG SITS JUVE:
Currently plying his trade in Germany with Wolfsburg, Guilavogui is actually owned by Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. He’s never convinced coach Diego Simeone however, who always preferred other squad members to him. For this reason, he decided to head to the Bundesliga to become a regular starter in Dieter Hecking’s side. 52 appearances and two goals later plus a call-up to the French national squad has alerted the bianconeri and whilst Wolfsburg have first call on whether to take him for €12 million this summer, Juventus remains attentive to the situation.

    A SUBSTITUTE FOR MARCHISIO:
Marotta and Paratici are monitoring things with interest and as we reported on calciomercato.com, he is near the top of the list as a potential replacement for the injured Marchisio, who remains sidelined until October. An opportunity to play with a club such as Juventus would be a huge attraction for the 25-year-old and a chance to test himself in the Champions League once again after his club’s recent elimination at the hands of Real Madrid.
