Exclusive: Juventus call on Verratti's agent to seal summer move

Juventus are still in the hunt for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid target Marco Verratti.

The Italian international has recently released a series of interviews in which he’s hinted that he could leave.

Our sources tell us that the Bianconeri are entrusting the player's agent Donato Di Campli to sort the situation out.

The Italian is being asked to succeed where a colleague has failed, Mino Raiola having been unable to sway the Parisians in this respect.

PSG are angry at Juventus for the way in which the Bianconeri managed to entice young Kingsley Coman away from Paris, only to then make a profit off him by moving him onto Bayern Munich.

The fact that Juventus tried to do the same thing with Jonathan Ikone recently can’t have helped, and helps to explain why players like Ezequiel Lavezzi, Edinson Cavani and especially Blaise Matuidi haven’t gone to Turin.

The Matuidi case is especially striking: prices aren’t so much of an issue, PSG’s owners are. Even if Verratti were to cost 80 million, the feeling is that the Bianconeri have the credit.

But will Di Campli help them regain credit with Nasser Al-Khelaifi? Only time will tell…
