The likes of Miroslav Klose and Alessandro Matri are set to leave the club at the end of the current campaign, while Filip Pjordjevic has suffered far too many injuries since the joined the Olimpico in 2014.

Tare is a long-time admirer of Crotone’s hit-man Ante Budimir, 24, and scorer of 11 goals in Serie B this term. The ‘Sharks’ will make the former St. Pauli’s move to Italy permanent next summer for a fee in the region of € 1 million.

Lazio are keeping tabs on him as the Aquile have been sending their scouts to Crotone games for the last couple of months or so, while Inter, Juventus and Atalanta were also rumored to be interested in signing the player.

As calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo points out, Lazio have an option to buy the Bosnian striker, holder of Croatian passport next season. Lazio should complete his signing for somewhere in the region of € 4 million plus a couple of youngsters from Lazio’s Primavera team.

Lot of Serie A loanees have been thriving at Crotone over the last few years: Federico Bernardeschi, Alessandro Florenzi, Danilo Cataldi, among the others, have all started their professional careers there. Goalkeeper Giulio Guerrieri, aged 19, could be the next one to joining the Serie B side, hoping to become a future Serie A star.
