Exclusive: Milan, Inter, Fiorentina… Serie A is crazy about Polish talent

Calcio has always been a fierce proponent of overseas recruitment, always trying to nab the latest South American talent, or indeed the freshest young  players from the Balkans.

According to our sources, it appears that Poland could be the newest hunting ground for Calcio, with both inter and AC Milan chasing Ruch Chorzow’s Przemyslaw Bargiel, a young midfielder who has long interested the Rossoneri’s director of sport, Alessandro Mirabelli.

It must be pointed out that Mirabelli was also very keen on the midfield star back when he was at Inter, and that the Nerazzurri’s interest in him didn’t evaporate when Mirabelli crossed town.

Beyond him, three Serie A clubs are chasing centre-back Jaroslaw Jach, who plays for Zaglebie Lubin. His agent is more and more determined to take his client to Serie A.

Pescara are also set to sign 19-year-old striker Dawid Kownacki from Lech Poznan, who is also a star for his country’s Under-21 team.

Empoli are looking for new names in attack, amongst whom we find Karol Swiderski of Jagiellonia Bialystok. Having already had an offer turned down, the Tuscans are set to try again in January.

Milan are also chasing Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk, while Lazio have yet to give up on Rennes’ Kamil Grosicki.
