Exclusive: Milan make €20m offer for Arsenal, Tottenham target

Milan have decided to ramp up the pressure on Hakan Calhanoglu, according to our sources.

The Tottenham and Arsenal target is subject of a recent 20 million offer from the Rossoneri, plus bonuses.

Current club Bayer Leverkusen wants 30m for the Turkish international, who has starred in the Bundesliga over the last few years.

Then again, the Aspirins’ position has softened over the last few hours, so things could develop quickly.

Milan have already reached an agreement with the Rossoneri, with agent Bektas Demirtas speaking to the Serie A club over the last ten or so days.

Calhanoglu, who scored 17 goals in Bundesliga over three seasons since joining Hamburg, is happy to join, and will make 3 million a year. Were he to sign, he’d sign a contract lasting five years.

The attacking midfielder said recently that he would head to either “Italy or England”, though the last few hours have the Rossoneri getting an edge.
