Exclusive: Milan to meet with Spurs target in late July

AC Milan are set to meet with Suso in late July, we can exclusively reveal, countering notions that he could be on his way out.

The Tottenham Hotspur target has gone from being a Liverpool reject to shining at AC Milan, scoring seven Serie A goals and adding nine assists.

There were times this season when the former Genoa man was the Rossoneri’s only true attacking influence.

With the Rossoneri signing a bunch of new players, some suspect that the Spaniard Suso could be on his way out.

The Rossoneri have already bagged Andre Silva, and are close to Hakan Calhanoglu and Fabio Borini. Suso is still earning 1 million a year, one of the least-remunerated players in the dressing room.

With contract talks stalling, could he be on his way out?

It doesn’t look like Milan will let him do a Donnarumma, having agreed with his entourage to a meeting at the end of July. They’ve told agent Jaime Serra that he is considered an untouchable, Coach Montella believing that he is one of the best in the squad, and has huge potential.

Milan are offering €2m a year, Serra is asking for €2.5m.
