    Update: Lo Celso closer and closer to AS Roma

    As reported in the last days, AS Roma are keen on Rosario Central attacking midfielder Giovani Lo Celso. In the last days, the giallorossi’s Sporting Director Walter Sabatini has increased his contacts with the Argentine club, and now the 19-year-old is extremely close to the Italian club.
     
    Moreover, the player’s father and agent has secretely travelled to Rome; the giallorossi will need some more time and patience to carry out the negotiation, but, in the mid time, they have overtaken Juventus, Chelsea and Liverpool in the race for the South American player.
     
    For the moment, the Capital’s club has offered €8 million, while the Canallas ask for €11 million. Moreover, their president Raul Broglia has to deal with his team’s fans, who are furious because of Cervi’s transfer to Benfica. Finally, Lo Celso will join only if Sabatini himself will be confirmed.
