EXCLUSIVE ROMANO: Juve, 25 million for Zaza: blitz to Wolfsburg. A return to Gabigol

Work in progress in the house of Juventus; a transfer market that seems to have no limits, continues to move forward and after Paul Pogba’s departure, attention  now turns to Simone Zaza. The 25-year-old striker’s farewell moves ever closer and his omission from the squad for today’s friendly against Espanyol is a further indication that time is up for the Italian international striker. With the player preferring to remain in Serie A, a trip to Germany to meet Wolfsburg executives is also on the agenda.

ZAZA, BLITZ TO WOLFSBURG, THE DETAILS
Alongside his agent, Zaza is on his way to Wolfsburg to meet with club executives and to examine the structure of the club. An offer of a four-year contract in excess of €4 million a season has been on the table for several weeks now but will he finally accept? Juventus wants an answer soon because they have plans for the €25 million should the deal go through. Although Roma, Napoli or Milan would be a more favourable option, Zaza may finally settle for the Bundesliga.

    NOT ONLYJUVE ON GABIGOL
If an attacking position becomes vacant in Turin, Juve already have their eye on a replacement. Despite already having new signing Pjaca, Mandzukic, Higuain and Dybala, there attention will return to Gabriel Barbosa or “Gabigol”, the Brazilian striker who has already agreed personal terms. Inter have already offered €25 million for the 19-year-old and Leicester City are prepared to offer €27 million but if the bianconeri can off-load Zaza, they will once again become one of the big players in this epic summer transfer saga.
