EXCLUSIVE Romano: Milan in transfer talks to sign Mammana
Calciomercato’s transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has exclusively learned that the Serie A side are in talks to sign the 20-year-old full-back as Philippe Mexes, Christian Zapata and Alex’s expiring contracts won’t be renewed at the end of the current season (even if the club could eventually decide to keep one of them).
All the scouting reports on the young central defender are extremely positive and Milan have already talked about Mammana with River Plate (despite the Millionarios president’s denial).
The player’s price-tag is in the region of € 10 million, the same offer that Fiorentina made last January. That is quite a lot of money, but still not too much for such an amazing prospect.
Trouble is, Mammana’s price could be more expensive at the end of the season and Milan are not the only side after the promising full-back as also Napoli are interested in signing him, as well as some Portuguese and Spanish clubs.
Milan are in race to sign Mammana, but could they finish first and seal his transfer?
