FOCUS: Volpe, the 'new Ibra' who dreams of Juve

    • M.G.
Like every Thursday, calciomercato.com analyzes the situation of a young talent: today is the turn of Frosinone striker Michele Volpe.
The 18-year-old, almost 2 meters tall, has scored twice even in the last game played with the Lazio’s club youth team, and his leading his team mates toward the top of the table.
The youngster doesn’t have a contract as a professional player yet, so he could join any other club for free. His agent Franco Jovino told calciomercato.com:
“It’s true, he hasn’t signed a pro contract yet, but we have agreed a certain path with Frosinone, whose executive Ernesto Salvini has helped him a lot. Three foreign clubs have been scouting him, as well as three from Italy. His dream remains playing for Juventus. He is a great fan of them, and when he can, he goes to Turin to watch the bianconeri’s games. Who he reminds me of? I know, it’s a risky comparison, but he can become a sort of Ibrahimovic. He is 1,96 m tall, he wears shoe size 12, but he has the skills of a number 10. He plays for the team, he likes to score but also to make his team mates do it”
