EXCLUSIVE: The three youngsters Chelsea could involve in player-plus cash swap deal for Nainggolan

Chelsea and AS Roma are talking about the future of Kostas Manolas and Radja Nainggolan as Antonio Conte is a long time admirer of the Giallorossi duo.

As we previously reported, Walter Sabatini met the Blues’ representatives at Stamford Bridge yesterday. According to our sources, Mohammed Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas also attended the meeting alongside Marina Granovskaia, Roman Abramovich’s right-hand woman.

First of all, the main purpose of the meeting was to plan the payment methods for the signing of Mohammed Salah. AS Roma had made the player’s move permanent last summer, but the Serie A giants have yet to pay the his € 17.5 million buy-out clause.

The Blues’ used yesterday’s meeting to ask information about Radja Nainggolan, Kostas Manolas and Miralem Pjanic. Walter Sabatini informed Mrs. Granovskaia about the Belgium International’s price-tag which is around € 40 million, though the Stamford Bridge outfit failed to make an official bid to sing any of the above-mentioned Roma stars.

Naniggolan’s agent Alessandro Beltrami has been informed about Chelsea’s interest and he would meet Chelsea once the two parties have found economic agreement for Nainggolan’s transfer.

AS Roma would be also open to add a couple of Chelsea youngsters in a player-plus-cash swap deal for the former Cagliari star.

According to our sources, Walter Sabatini sounded out Chelsea about the availability of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jake Clarke -Salter and Baba Rahman. Sabatini had already tried to sign the latter before the player joined the south-west London club for a fee of € 20 million last summer.

Loftus Cheek is a promising midfielder who had made his Premier League debut under José Mourinho this season and scored his first goal in England’s top-flight against Aston Villa last week, when his teammate Clarke-Salter made his personal Premier League debut.
