EXCLUSIVE: Valecia make Carlos Bacca contact, but the Colombian ace wants to join Atletico

The future of Carlos Bacca is still uncertain. The Colombian ace has never confirmed that he’ll stay at AC Milan next season and the player’s agent Sergio Barila has also admitted that lack of European football of AC Milan might influence Bacca’s decision over his future at the club.

Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that Valencia have contacted Mr. Barila and that Atletico Madrid will also make an attempt to sign the 30-year-old hit-man in next few days.

Diego Simeone has shortlisted three big names to boost the Colchoneros’ attacking force: Gonzalo Higuain, Mauro Icardi and Carlos Bacca are the names of the Cholo’s wish-list and his club will try to bring one of them to the Calderno.

The only official offer AC Milan have received so far is the one of West Ham. The rossoneri rejected Hammers’ € 20 million bid last month as they aim to cash in at least € 25-30 million in order to register a capital gain given that Bacca joined the rossoneri for a transfer fee in the region of € 30 million last summer. The Colchoneros’ could be the answer to Bacca’s needs.

PSG have also been linked with welcoming Bacca’s services as the player’s mentor Unai Emery will be appointed as new boss at the Parc des Princes and has requested the Ligue1 giants to sign his old striker.
