Fassone: ‘Bonucci? I first believed that it was impossible but then…’
Marco Fassone and Milan have had a very impressive summer so far as they completed many big signings. AC Milan are now on their Chinese summer tour as their general manager Marco Fassone spoke to the press, here is what he had to say: " Bonucci? It was a crazy idea to start with and I didn't even want to make an attempt at the time. Finally it was Vincenzo Montella who told us to make a serious move for Bonucci and so we did. It is a very important signal that a star player like Bonucci who was playing in the Champions league decided to come with us even if we won't initially be playing in the UCL. Bonucci's signing for me is an important signal going forward. Leo is a warrior and a great leader, he will help us out a lot on the pitch and outside of the pitch too".
Bonucci completed a 40 million euros move (plus two extra million euros in bonuses) as he underwent his medicals with Milan. This was one of the biggest if not the biggest transfer of the summer so far....
