Fiorenina boss Paulo Sousa gives his view on wantaway AC Milan target Gonzalo Rodriguez
The player’s agent exclusively told calciomercato.com earlier this week that Fiorentina have offered the 25% less than what he currently gets and that the player will be waiting until February before entering transfer talks with other clubs.
During today’s press conference Sousa opted not to interfere with negotiations between the club and the player telling media that ‘Gonzalo is a serious person and a very good footballer who always gives his best in order to win games for Fiorentina.’
Gonzalo Rodriguez’s contract runs until the end of the season just like Paulo Sousa’s. The Portuguese tactician was harshly criticized by his own fans two weeks ago when he said that Federico Bernardeschi is destined to leave the club to join a bigger and more ambitious one.
