Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia could soon move to Serie A as confirmed by his agent. Exclusively to CM.com, agent Enzo Montepaone confirmed that Fiorentina and Arsenal are after his client.

“I know the Viola directors went over to Belgium to look at him and then talked to Anderlecht in order to sign Lucas in January,” claimed Montepaone.

“Milan did enquire in the past too but at the moment there is nothing serious. Fiorentina need to hurry up though because Arsenal are really interested too.

“Italy has always been a dream for Lucas. He had an injury but fully recovered and in January he will be back on the pitch. Furthermore, he holds an Italian passport which is why a move to Serie A is likely,” added Montepaone.

“Fiorentina could replace Riccardo Montolivo although Biglia is a bit more defensive. But he is very skilled and in a way similar to the Italian player.”
