Fiorentina, deny claims that Sousa is leaving OFFICIAL STATEMENT
"ACF Fiorentina denies bluntly the news entirely without foundation of an imminent farewell of coach Paulo Sousa reported today on Mediaset by journalist Paul Bargiggia. Fiorentina regrets and is surprised by the superficiality with which a scenario so serious has been reported. Fiorentina has always cooperated with the press and the individual journalists who speak in first person on social networks, respecting the rights of freedom of opinion and of criticism but it will no longer accept a communication based on rumours, assumptions or reconstructions unfounded and not verified. All of this undermines in fact the tranquillity of the club, its players and fans, creating confusion and damage. The company therefore calls for more fairness and respect from those who report on the world of La Viola daily or occasionally".
