Fiorentina open to talk to Juve about star winger

As reported by Nicola Balice of CM, the race for a big capture for Juventus in attack is getting more and more intense. Waiting for Lotito and Lazio to shake off against Juventus for Keita Baldé, stumbling on the Douglas Costa front before flying to Munich maybe after another shot to Bayern (wait and see about Alexis Sanchez), assessing every small break that could bring lure Di Maria to Turin. Then there is the work for Fiorentina starlet Federico Bernardeschi who searches for his first small but important achievement. For a long time, Juve have been intent on the player with ongoing talks with his agent Beppe Bozzo. But the stumbling block is the Viola leadership, who in the past have labeled their young winger as ‘not for sale’.

DEVELOPMENTS - To date, the position of Fiorentina has always been clear, to try to keep Bernardeschi any way they can, offering him even with a renewal beyond their standards (2.5 million EUR net per season was the last proposal) in order to build the team around the talented Italian. But that is not the first thought of the player, regardless money will come. For an athlete looking to make a jump in quality it may be the time to fly away from Florence. And among the many proposals that have come to his table, Juventus seems to have convinced him more than anyone else, despite the fierce competition of so many top clubs and Inter leading the queue. A growing role as a protagonist in an important team that will immediately challenge for the Champions League, and perhaps that number ten shirt that in the past was worn by Platini, Baggio and Del Piero...

HOW MUCH - The novelty of these times is that even if Fiorentina are willing to deal the player, they can remain firm on their evaluation of about 60 million to take away Bernardeschi. It is a  rather high figure yes, but not too high and it will be unlikely to see the Della Valle family accept a proposal lower than 50 million EUR. This could be just enough for Juve to activate the second phase of its strategy: in the spring they was ready to start a proposal of nearly 40 million plus bonuses, the first step in a negotiation that is seemingly complex and maybe long. But that will soon start officially.
