    Fiorentina, Sousa: "My future? I will speak with Della Valle"

    At his press conference today ahead of this weekend’s match against Sassuolo, Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa was asked about his future amid recent speculation about a possible move to Russia to coach Zenit St Petersburg. He replied that; “A meeting with Della Valle and Cognini? I always speak clearly with whoever I’m talking to because that’s the sort of person I am. For me there is always a desire to work at maximum capacity and give everything. I’m always focused on what I’m doing in the present”.

    When asked about his recent dinner-date with the club, Sousa replied; “I’m sorry that the news that was reported was not true and has damaged my relationship with the press. It’s not for me to convince people, this city has always been clear and we have always been close in difficult moments”.
