Inter: Firmino won't join. Juve: offer for Shaqiri

As reported earlier today, if they will sell 27-year-old midfielder Fredy Guarin, Inter Milan could swoop on Hoffenheim 22-year-old attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino: as revealed by calciomercato.com, the Hoffe have absolutely no intention to sell the player, and, in any case, the Italian clubs have made no concrete offers for the Brazilian, as they can't afford his transfer fee -between 20 and 25 million euros; moreover, as outlined by the same media, it seems always more difficult for the nerazzurri to sell the Colombia international, as Manchester United are now focused on Real Madrid 26-year-old Angel Di Maria and Zenit St. Petersburg coach André Villas-Boas has denied any contacts for the former FC Porto player. Another player whom the Lombard club wants to sell is 26-year-old attacking midfielder Ricardo Alvarez: the Argentine is tracked by Atletico Madrid, but -as reported by El Mundo Deportivo- the Colchoneros want the player on loan, while the Lombard club requires 12 million euros.  Who seems definitively intentioned to quit "San Siro" is 24-year-old attacking midfielder Rubén Botta, who, as confirmed by his agent Sergio Levinton, is about to join Chievo. Meanwhile, according to Tuttosport, both Crystal Palace and Leicester City are interested in 27-year-old Zdravko Kuzmanovic.
Serie A defending champions Juventus keep on seeking a new forward, and, according to gianlucadimarzio.com, have found an agreement with Arsenal 29-year-old Arsene Wenger, and now must negotiate with the Gunners. The bianconeri are also keen on Bayern Munich 22-year-old winger Xherdan Shaqiri, and, as reported by the same media, have made an offer to the German club: 2 million euros immediately for the loan and about 15 million euros at the end of the season to sign the Switzerland international on permanent basis.
