Flamengo will not stop pressing for Ronaldinho and insist on trying to get him to stay in Brazil. The AC Milan star, who is on holiday in Rio de Janeiro, is uncertain about his future in Italy and deciding whether to continue in Milan or have a change of air a year before the expiry of his contract. According to Globoesporte, Ronaldinho had lunch in Rio de Janeiro with the new president of Flamengo Patricia Amorim.

The club is willing to give  approximately 4.5 million net for a year contract, the highest salary ever in the history of Brazilian football. It is still well below what  Ronaldinho gets now at  AC Milan where he earns 8 million euro.

The departure of Ronaldinho, and his colossal salary, could give the green light to Milan for a major investment, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who Barcelona could loan to the Rossoneri.

The star of Porto Alegre is, however, spoiled for choice. Los Angeles Galaxy has also shown interest as well as Olympiacos and another Brazilian team, Palmeiras of former Seleçao coach Felipe Scolari.
