Focus: update on Juve's renewals

Juventus will take advantage of the two-weeks pause to evaluate the situation of those players whose contract will expire at the end of the current season. At the moment, the three more important situations are the ones of Andrea Barzagli, Patrice Evra and Massimiliano Allegri.

Regarding the 34-year-old center back, there are no doubts: he will extend his deal with the bianconeri at least for one more season. The Italy international will then end his career in Turin. Both him and the Piedmont’s club CEO Giuseppe Marotta have expressed their intentions, now the only have to sit around a table and put pen to paper on the new deal.

The Serie A defending champions will offer a new contract to Evra too. The Frenchman is very important for the team, but it’s not sure that he will accept to become Alex Sandro’s backup.

Finally, Allegri and Juve are about to extend their deal until June 2018: the Tuscan tactician will earn about €5 million per season. The agreement could be announced in the next days.
