Former coach praises new Juve signing: ‘He’s the next Henry'

Juventus have just completed the signing of Patrick Schick. The U21 Czech Republic International has had his medical in Turin earlier this week and Juventus will announce his signing at the end of the U21 European championship.

Schick had a cracking debut season in Serie A as he managed 13 goals and five assists in 35 Serie A appearances. Juventus have completed the signing of the 21-year-old for € 30,5 million and the player’s former boss David Holoubek has no doubt that Schick will justify his price-tag at the Allianz Stadium

“He’s the most talented footballer I’ve seen here”, he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He’s similar to Thierry Henry, he’s a complete striker with a magic touch. He’s an amazing left-footed striker who needs space to play up front.”

“Schick loves challenges, that’s why I am sure he will battle it hard to become a regular starter, he has a bright future ahead of him.”
