Former Juventino Vidal: 'I argued with my wife over Bayern move'

Arturo Vidal is never boring, is he? The Chilean international's return to the Juventus Stadium, his home for four years, was one of mixed emotions. Though his Bayern team came away with a key two away goals, they'll be disappointed at their inability to finish Juventus off when the Bianconeri were there for the taking.

Vidal revealed something else in a post-match interview which will persuade even embittered Juventus fans that his departure from Turin wasn't a straightforward decision. "Leaving Juve wasn't easy" the Chilean told Premium Sport "I even argued with my wife about it!".

"I had four fantastic years at Juventus, everyone was so sweet to me.

"But now I'm playing in a role, I wanted a new challenge".

Vidal also spoke of the penalty appeal that will have Juventus fans foaming at the mouth for a while yet. With the score still 0-0, the officials somehow missed what looked like a blatant handball in the box. " My arm was very close to my body, I moved it".

The 28-year-old also spoke of his relationship with Pogba: "I get on well with him, he calls me Arturino, even King. I get on with everyone".

One thing's for certain, "Arturino"... We miss you!
