    Former Man Utd star to become Klose’s heir at Lazio

    According to this morning’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare would have used the team’s trip to Istanbul (where Stefano Pioli’s side drew 1-1 against Galatasaray on Thursday evening) to start negotiating  Robin Van Persie’s  move to the Olimpico next season.

    Scorer of 14 goals in 32 seasonal games with Fenerbache this term, Lazio president Claudio Lotito wants to sign the ‘Flying Dutchman’ to replace veteran hit-man Miroslav Klose, who’s set to leave the Serie A club when his contract expires next June.
