    From China: Rooney rejected an offer from Beijing Guoan

    Speaking to a Chinese radio program, Lou Ning ( Beijing Guoan's honorary president) revealed an important story concerning Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, here is what he had to say on the matter: " We made an important offer to Wayne Rooney towards the start of the season but he rejected it as he wanted to stay in Manchester and in the Premier league. He said that he still felt good physically and that he would stay in the EPL as long as his health allows him too. We even spoke to his agent but then nothing happened in the end".

    Wayne Rooney has been at United for so long and he is even willing to renew his deal with the club. It hasn't bee a great start to the season so far for United and for Rooney. The English striker has only scored 2 goals in 15 games (in all competitions) this season under new coach José Mourinho.
