From Spain: U21 Spain star pushes Real Madrid ace towards Chelsea

Reports in Spain claim Real Madrid are closing in on the signing of Betis’ Daniel Ceballos, one of the most promising attacking midfielders in Spain, so much so he was named as the best player of the U21 European Championship last month.

According to a report of As.com the signing of Dani Ceballos will push James Rodriguez out of the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Colombian wants to get more game time and the imminent arrival of Ceballos would make competition for a starter spot at Real Madrid fiercer.

According to the reliable Spanish paper, Chelsea will jump to front of the queue to sign James Rodriguez as soon as Real Madrid complete the signing of Ceballos.

The Premier League champions, in fact, can invest money from the sale of Diego Costa to strengthen their attacking department and Real Madrid are unwilling to strengthen Manchester United sending both Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez to the Old Trafford. The situation could change if Manchester United complete the signing of Romelu Lukaku instead of Alvaro Morata but as of today, Chelsea are leading the race to sign James.
