‘Gabriel Garbosa prefers us over Las Palmas’ claims Santos president
The Brazilian striker, who is also on Liverpool’s sights, could leave Inter in January, either on loan or on a permanent deal. The club’s director of sport Piero Ausilio said yesterday that Inter might listen to Gabriel Barbosa’s request to leave the club on loan next month and Santos’ president has claimed that the Brazilian promise would fancy a return to his old club.
“First of all, we have to consider whether Inter want to sell Gabigol. Doors are always open for him, I think he prefers a return to Santos than a move to Las Palmas.”
Santos have offered the striker’s entourage to return to the club on loan paying half of his wages until the end of the season. Inter are only open to loan the player for six months but do not want to pay a single penny of the player’s salary until the end of the current campaign.
